Q. Can anyone be hypnotised?
A. Yes, apart from very young children and people suffering psychotic episodes, or people with extremely low IQs. Everyone goes into trances whether it’s daydreaming, just before sleep and so on. For more click here
Q. Is hypnosis dangerous?
A. No. It’s very safe when practiced by qualified practitioners.
Q. Am I aware when I’m hypnotised?
A. Yes and no! Most of the time yes you are totally aware and in control. Sometimes you can drift pleasantly off ‘into your own world’ into very deep states of relaxation and that’s fine because hypnosis and NLP is all about changing things at an unconscious level.
Q. Can I get stuck in hypnosis?
Q. Can I be made to do anything I don’t want to do?
Q. What is the unconscious mind?

Q. What is Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)?
A. NLP has been described as the new science of personal achievement but it is much more than that. It is a highly effective methodology based on the belief that all behaviour has a structure and that this structure can be modelled, learned and changed. Through NLP we can learn about your patterns and programmes, how you can change them and have more flexibility in your life. [ more ]
Q. How many sessions do I need?
A. It depends. Some things we can change in just one session, for example stop smoking, certain phobias, psyching up for a job interview or a driving test. Other things can take longer, e.g. panic attacks: 2-4 sessions, confidence: on average 2-4. OCDs or serious depression can take more still. We also have clients who like to come every week or fortnight for life coaching and some have been coming for years. It depends on you and what you want.
