We have been utilising NLP since 1989 and work to generate permanent positive changes with our clients: changing beliefs, attitudes, perceptions, behaviours and emotions.
NLP is often presented as a set of techniques to be learned and practiced. However NLP is more than this. As co-founder Richard Bandler describes:
"Well trained Neuro-Linguistic Programmers will always teach by installation, not by teaching technique after technique. Techniques outdate themselves too quickly to base the field of NLP on a set of techniques. It is based upon the attitude, the models and the skills which allow for constant generation of new techniques which are more effective and work faster."
All three of us at HPC have been using NLP for seventeen years; primarily in the area it was developed: providing solutions to people’s problems.
This is the ultimate application to deal with issues as diverse as obsessive compulsive disorders, panic attacks, phobias and depression, as well as for coaching elite athletes, sales people and performers. We have honed our skills in the ultimate environment.
As NLP has evolved, from initially a model of solving people’s psychological problems to now, having applications in business, sport, education and communication, so HPC has evolved in tandem staying at the cutting edge of this technology.
We are used to working under pressure and improvising new strategies and solutions. We do this not only with individuals but groups. So we can instinctively identify the underlying structure beliefs and patterns which cause the inefficiency, and then remedy it.
Other companies offer mind management programmes teaching mental skills, such as goal setting, stress management, positive thinking and so on. While this material is definitely of value, taught in isolation, it often leads to a fun in-house day or two of training, without leading to permanent cultural change.
We also believe that training should be fun; however we want to install these attitudes and patterns to give everyone an ongoing set of skills that can be continuously applied throughout a person’s life, and in every department of their life.
Human Performance Design is the application of the range of disciplines employed by HPC to collect information, identify customers’ needs, and then customise and implement solutions to enhance performance.
These are the reasons why you should choose HPC.
